Reporting indicates 22 African countries are visa-free for up to 90 days. Tunisia planned a national eVisa platform (African Development Bank-supported), but the tender launched in September 2024 was declared unsuccessful on 26 August 2025: none of eight bids met the requirements, and no new tender or launch date has been announced. Non-exempt nationalities still apply through a consulate or embassy.

CORRECTED 19 SEPTEMBER 2026. This entry previously described the eVisa platform as 'rolling out' and held Tunisia at 'proposed'. The tender failed in August 2025 and nothing has replaced it, so there is no scheme to apply for. Status moved to 'none' until a platform is announced with a date.
