Resolved via Lesotho's own Ministry of Home Affairs and its UK High Commission. Every non-exempt foreign national must first obtain a visa through Lesotho's e-visa system before travel, applications must be made from outside Lesotho, and applying in-country is prohibited. A list of visa-exempt nationalities (reported to include SADC neighbours and some Commonwealth countries) can stay 90 or 14 days depending on nationality without a visa.
It's required for non-exempt nationalities, for any visa category.
Not established from primary sources; third-party aggregators report M630 for passport services (not the visa itself), unrelated to the visa fee.
You can't get it on arrival. It has to be sorted before you fly.
Applications are reviewed by the Immigration Department before a result is emailed to the applicant; approval is not automatic.
