29 countries. Only three are African: Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire and Senegal. The rest are European, North American, Middle Eastern or Asian.
It's required for nationals of the 29 listed countries.
An administration fee is reported but has not been confirmed on the portal.
Travellers from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Ethiopia, Somalia, Nigeria can't apply online right now and need to go through an embassy instead.
Good to know
Announced April 2025, suspended 16 May 2025 over technical failures, rebuilt with VFS Global and operating again. Six nationalities, three of them African, cannot apply online at all and must attend an embassy.
