Citizens of any country except Burundi and Palestine may obtain a visa on arrival at any of Madagascar's international airports for stays up to 90 days. An optional e-Visa (reactivated around April 2023) exists as an alternative but is not a mandatory pre-travel step.
It's required for nothing before travel for most nationalities; Burundian nationals are the notable exception and should check directly.
It's optional for e-Visa available online as an alternative to visa on arrival.
The fee is USD 37.
