A growing number of African countries now ask you to apply for entry permission online before you travel, even without a visa. Miss it and you can be turned away at boarding.

Get a visa from a Moroccan embassy. There is one shortcut: if you already have a valid visa or residence permit (a card that lets you live there) from most EU countries, the UK, US, Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand or the UAE, you can apply online instead.

Good to know

Algerian citizens may face extra questions and checks at the border.
For AFCON 2025, Morocco made citizens of 8 visa-free countries (Algeria, Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde, Gabon, Niger, Senegal, Togo and Tunisia) get an AEVM before travel. That ran from 25 September 2025 to 25 January 2026 and has ended. Mali's requirement ended on 27 April 2026.
