A growing number of African countries now ask you to apply for entry permission online before you travel, even without a visa. Miss it and you can be turned away at boarding.

Every visitor, including West Africans who don't need a visa, must fill in a short online form with their travel details before arriving, and again before leaving.

Do it at lecard.immigration.gov.ng, before you fly. It's called Landing card. Cost: Free.

Apply online before you travel. Nigeria stopped visas on arrival in May 2025. The stated processing time is 48 hours.
